This page tells you where I live!
It shows the Country, State, County with maps!
It also shows time zones, and describes populations
of the included towns within Caribou County, Idaho
Area in square miles is also published.

From left to right, the time zones are Pacific in Purple, Mountain in Yellow where I am located, green for Central, and blue for Eastern time zone. This map also shows the location of Idaho in the northwest United States, note northern Idaho is in pacific time zone while most of Idaho and including where I live is in the Mountain time zone. Mountain time is one hour earlier than Pacific, one hour earlier than central and two hours later than eastern time.  Posted by Picasa

This Photograph shows the mountainous regions of Idaho along with the smooth snake river plain which stretches the width of Idaho in the southern part. Again Caribou County is in the southeast right left corner area in a mountainous region. Idaho is about 600 miles long north to south, and at the southern portion 375 miles wide, and about 90 miles wide at the northern border next to Canada. Posted by Picasa

Caribou County is located in the southeastern part on the Wyoming on the east side, north of Bear Lake and Franklin Counties, and south of Bonniville county. Caribou County is approximately 1,786 square miles in size. The County seat is Soda Springs with a populaiton of about 3, 500, the town of Grace has 960 where I live, and the town of Bancroft has about 324 people. The town of Freedom is split by the State of Idaho and the State of Wyoming, half the town in each state. Freedom has approximately 100 people. There are about 7,500 people living in Caribou County which is a rural area for the most part. There is plentiful hunting and fishing in the area, and it is comprised of a canyon, sagebrush, mountains, the Bear River, Alexander, 24 Mile, Chesterfield and Blackfoot reservoirs. It has pine trees, Cedar trees, plains, valleys, and mountain roads. Caribou county is located only 4 hours to Yellowstone National Park, 3 hours to Salt Lake City, Utah, 45 minutes to the Wyoming border and 4 hours to the Capitol of Boise. The Pacific Ocean is about 700 miles to the west. Idaho borders Canada to the north, Nevada and Utah to the south, Oregon and Washington to the west and Wyoming to the east.
